SoOnCon is the Southern Ontario Hackerspaces & Makers Mini-Conference. Attendees are provided with an electronic hackable badge. In 2010, it was hosted by kwartzlab in Kitchener-Waterloo.
The badge was designed and built in three weeks. Boards were made locally by Priority Circuits and the assembly was done at kwartzlab. Andrew Mackie ported a lot of the Arduino library API and developed the initial preloaded code.
